Reasons to be cheerful

We all agree that 'Agility is fun' but what exactly is it that you like? What makes it worthwhile getting up at 5am to go a show or standing in the drizzling rain at training? Put your favourite things on an email and send it to Agilitynet.

  1. Running my young Springer Spaniel when he realised that those things in the ring are for going over at a flat out pace and waiting at the finish for me to catch up! Nicky Hyland

  33. My noisy Vizsla, Ross, woofing his way round the course because he's having so much fun, and little Lurcher, Acer, springing into my arms when he's finished his run, all wriggly and pleased with himself!  Thank heavens I don't have to catch big Ross! Paula Triggs
     

  34. Highlight for me this year? Everyone being so pleased for me when I won out of starters with my medium terrier and some going out of their way to find me and say 'Well Done'. Paula Kingswood

  50. My pleasure in agility comes from seeing my dogs happy, fit, and doing something they really enjoy. I've made some fantastic friends  have changed my life - (yes, I've just bought a camper! - and I can't wait to get Labrador No. 3. I'll be amazed if I ever get into Novice, let alone Senior, but for me it's about working with dogs I love rather than changing breed just to win a few more rosettes. - Lindy Mergach
